Job Description

Your mission:

  • Preparing and posting journal entries in the general ledger and ensuring accurate transaction recording
  • Performing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • Accounting for transactions related to stocks, fixed assets, IFRS16, taxes, and cost provisions
  • Calculating and accounting for accrued income, expenses, and write-downs
  • Assisting in the preparation of tax returns and statutory reports
  • Supporting intercompany reconciliations
  • Monitoring and analysing general ledger accounts, identifying and explaining discrepancies
  • Reporting actual and forecasted financial statements in the group reporting system
  • Analysis and implementation of changes in processes, in accordance with IFRS requirements

Additionally:

  • Participating in projects aimed at improving accounting processes
  • Working closely with clients to provide top-quality services (including in other languages, if applicable)
  • Keeping process documentation up to date
  • Participating in knowledge transfers
  • Working daily and improving your skills in accounting processes as well as SAP and Excel

Qualifications

Your skills:

  • Experience in accounting
  • Good command of English (B1/B2)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage own work
  • Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes (nice to have)
  • Competence in Excel and ability to analyse financial data
  • Relevant educational background in economics or accounting (nice to have)
