Job Description

Your main areas of responsibility in this position will include:

• Benchmarking processes and tools within the Fixed Assets area (across countries) with a focus on the Capitalization and IFRS16 processes
• Driving change management initiatives, including cooperation with Metro Group entities in various locations
• Creating, maintaining, approving and communicating standard processes (process framework) for new and existing business processes
• Coordinating and analysing differences between 'as is' and 'to be' processes and providing solutions for an effective transformation
• Acting as a Subject Matter Expert and first point of contact for the assigned Fixed Assets process with a focus on Capitalization and IFRS16
• Creating and maintaining a mockup version of the tool required for the automatic capitalization process in cooperation with the Process Automation Team and the central S/4HANA rollout team
• Defining adequate KPIs for the purpose of standard maintenance
• Cooperating with Metro Group cross-functional entities in various locations involved in the implementation of standard processes
• Closely cooperating with the project group responsible for the implementation of the new Finance and Accounting system SAP S/4HANA


Qualifications

We are inviting to this recruitment everyone who has:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
• Good knowledge of accounting procedures, policies, regulations and rules and a solid understanding of accounting principles
• Three years of experience in accounting
• Knowledge of month-end closing procedures
• Project management skills
• E2E thinking and strong analytical skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong Excel skills and good SAP knowledge
