Junior IT Specialist

Job description

Daily Operations IT Support provided by our Team

  • Diagnosing and resolving end-user technical issues in a corporate environment.
  • Providing 1st line support for hardware, software, and office IT issues.
  • Supporting local conference rooms and ensuring AV equipment is functioning correctly.
  • Handling user onboarding and offboarding tasks (hardware preparation, account setup).
  • Creating and maintaining accurate documentation of incidents, changes, and assets.
  • Escalating complex issues to 2nd and 3rd level support teams and cooperation with them during resolution.
  • Working with centralized/global IT support teams for issue escalation and coordination.

Technical Skills we are looking for

  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware (installation, configuration, and troubleshooting).
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and troubleshooting common issues.
  • Basic understanding of LAN/WAN networking concepts and troubleshooting (e.g., IP configuration, cabling, switches, Wi-Fi).
  • Ability to install, configure, and maintain peripheral devices (printers, scanners, docking stations, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Degree, diploma, or certification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience), this can also be in progress.
  • 0–2 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or similar roles.
  • Relevant certifications are an advantage (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, ITIL Foundation).
  • Good knowledge of English (written and verbal) – minimum B2 level required.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Positive, proactive, and customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and support requests.
  • Team player with a willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
