Proofreader & Content Editor (Polish-English)

Key Responsibilities

• Proofread and edit Polish-language catalogs for linguistic accuracy, clarity, and marketing appropriateness
• Ensure consistency in design tone and alignment with the brand’s voice across all content
• Manage feedback cycles and ensure timely delivery of error-free content while maintaining a smooth workflow with relevant teams
• Collaborate with internal teams (MCC Poland & GSC Design Team) to ensure content is produced and delivered on time and meets all quality standards
• Contribute creative ideas for catchy slogans, taglines, and promotional content to enhance engagement
• Help refine advertising slogans for campaigns such as catalog designs and key visuals for various marketing projects
• Translate content from English to Polish and vice versa, ensuring that the translation is fluent, accurate, and culturally relevant
• Create content tailored to specific target groups, including but not limited to Horeca (Hotel/Restaurant/Catering), Traders, and SCO, ensuring the messaging resonates effectively
• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of text throughout publications, with a focus on spotting errors or repetitive elements and ensuring uniformity across projects

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Polish-Language Proofreader & Content Editor to join our marketing team. The successful candidate will ensure that all Polish-language catalogs and marketing materials are linguistically accurate, culturally appropriate, and aligned with our design tone. The role requires creative input in crafting engaging promotional content, translating from English to Polish and vice versa, and collaborating with internal teams to meet deadlines for high-quality, error-free output.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Polish: native or near-native proficiency with excellent command of grammar, style, and tone
• University degree in Polish Philology
• Fluency in English
• Extensive experience in editing and proofreading, particularly in the context of retail, wholesale, and complex Food and Non-Food promotions
• Background in marketing, design, or communication with a focus on content creation and editing
• Ability to translate text seamlessly between English and Polish
• Proven ability to generate creative marketing content such as catchy slogans and taglines
• Attention to detail – strong ability to spot small errors, inconsistencies, and nuances in text
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Flexibility to work with a variety of text styles and tones, from technical language to more creative or promotional content
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and communicate clearly in an international and remote environment
